At SBMC we have an important part to play in ensuring the preservation of our environment for future generations. We understand our duty to have a strategy to actively reduce the impact we have as a business on the environment around us.
Zero Landfill
Our sign manufacturing process has built-in practices to ensure waste is minimised throughout the organisation. We extensively recycle and re-use any materials not neccessary in the manufacturing process and where recycling is not possbible there is a process in place to ensure excess waste can be used to generate low carbon electricity.
Becoming Carbon Neutral
It is our responsibility to understand the impact our organisation has on the environment. We are taking measured steps to minimise or eradicate our impact on the world around us. Where, as an organisation, we’re unable to achieve a zero carbon footprint we are taking steps to offset this through initiatives to ensure we are able to become a fully carbon neutral organisation.
ISO accreditation
We have gained various ISO certifications, including ISO 27001, and ISO 9001, in an effort to maintain our industry-leading reputation, and we are please to announce we have also achieved ISO14001; a framework in place to protect the environment and respond to the ever-changing environmental conditions in balance with socio-economic needs. We have received excellent feedback internally and externally on this and we’re extremely proud to have achieved ISO 14001.
